Bowen Therapy Explained

It is a holistic and non-invasive bodywork therapy. Using movements that are simple , gentle and perfectly positioned focusing on muscles, tendons and fascia to create healing.

It works by transferring our bodies out of painful, irritated states to a relaxed calmness, called the para-sympathetic mode.

This `switching` helps alleviate the problems

The object is to reduce pain and inflammation and to restore alignment to the body structure and the entire body by restoring balance via the autonomic nervous system

Bowen can aid and benefit all ages from babies to the elderly.

During a session, a client can often drop into a deep relaxed state or even fall asleep. This can indicate a change or shift towards recovery.

By using Bowen Therapy I can help people recover from pain, inflammation and stress.

Examples: Sports injuries in runners, athletes, golfers. helping muscle aches, strains. And from neck/back/postural issues to stress, insomnia etc.
